New Year decorations in the center of Sochi — 2020
In contemplation of 2021, the lights were solemnly lit on Sochi's main Christmas tree stylized with light magnolias. It was our AIRA Technology Park that provided both the design and the tree itself. The stylized magnolia buds were not chosen by chance — these flowers are an ancient symbol of New Year and Christmas celebrations in the Kuban region.
The Christmas tree was 23.5 m tall. Over 100,000 LEDs were mounted in its branches, which twinkle according to the algorithms specified. They let the tree shine brightly in the dark, making it the centerpiece of the Flag Square
We also developed the project of the New Year arches installed in the Flag Square, Sochi, and produced illuminated street banners and LED consoles for lighting poles decorated with refined magnolia buds, which you can see in Kurortny Avenue.
